Even without a driver, the HK GTS wins the race...

Nope, its no a CV8, its the ECOmmodore. The ECOmmodore used a body shell designed using cues from the Monaro.

This is the second CV8 off the production line (first available for sale to the public). Proudly owned by Trevor from Biante Enterprises, it now resides in his personal motor museum, along side other classic Australian muscle cars. The first CV8 off the prouction line is stored at the Burwood Motor Museum in SA.

HQ racing at Barbagallo Raceway in 2001

Dennis purchased this HX GTS new, and kept it has been kept in 'better than new' condition ever since. Dennis restored a HG GTS 350 and a HK GTS 327 well before restoration became the buzz word within the Monaro community.

A true Monaro legend, gentleman, and downright top bloke, Dennis Stainer is sadly missed by many after passing away last year.

Wangaratta 2000. Great example of a restored HG GTS

Peter posing while Rob looks on. This is the 'before' photo. In the 'after' photo, Peter has a huge grin from ear to ear, while smoke drifts from all four tyres. Well done Pete!

Modified HG GTS - Wangaratta 2000

Check out the grin on Darren's face. Winner of Top Authentic 2000, and Runner-up in 2002, you'd be grinning to. Congratulations to Brian, son Darren, and the family on a top effort with this car. Their current project is a GT350 Shelby Mustang.
